John Volpe

John Volpe - of Egg Harbor Township was called home on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was 58.

John worked for Friedman LLP in Linwood as an IT Manager and had been a dedicated employee for many years. John’s favorite pastime was cooking for his family while gathering on Sundays to share stories with many laughs. John grew up in the Bronx and was a die-hard Yankees fan. He was passionate about the gym and loved going after work and on the weekends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

John is survived by his daughters, Erica (Ray) Leak of Egg Harbor Township, Gabrielle Volpe of Egg Harbor Township; his mother, Dolores Volpe; his brother, Joseph Volpe of Mays Landing, and two grandchildren, Isabella and Mason Leak. John was predeceased by his father, Rocco Volpe; sister, Elizabeth Volpe Grasso; and his loyal dogs, Samson, Sonny, and Ronnie.

Relatives and friends are invited Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 5-7pm, to Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ 08330 to celebrate and remember the life of John.
