Gaus, Joseph N., 84, of Mays Landing, passed away on April 10, 2011. Born and raised in Philadelphia, he served in the US Navy during WWII and Korea. Joe worked many years for the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard with his brother and sons. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Doris F., his three children; Kathy Hainsworth, Maryanne Sharman (Clinton), and Jim Gaus (JoAnn), seven grandchildren six great-grandchildren, his brother Charles Gaus, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Joseph C. Gaus. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 15th, 11am, at the Sacred Heart Church, 1739 Ferry Ave., Camden, where a viewing will be held from 9:30am till the time of the mass. Burial will be in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery of Estell Manor, NJ.
