Kathleen Branca (Nee Egan) – 61, of Mays Landing, NJ, it is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen (Kathie) Branca announces her sudden passing of Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Waiting to welcome her in heaven are her husband Lee and her parents James and Doris Egan.

Kathie will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughter, Jazmyn, children, Kristina and Joseph. She will also, greatly be missed by her siblings, James Egan (Jenni), Michele McGowan (Jim), William Egan (Dianne) and Brian Egan (Karen). Kathie will be forever remembered with the sun shining on her by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.

Born and raised in Atlantic City, she attended Our Lady Star of the Sea grade school and Holy Spirit High School. As a teen she worked at Steel’s Fudge. She grew up loving the beach and boardwalk and loved to share her memories of the fun times she had. Kathie could always be found with her sister relaxing on the beach. She loved her times with her girlfriends, reminiscing about good times or a crazy night at the cabin. She was an avid reader, loved to binge watch a good show and also loved to travel. Most importantly she loved her family and spending time with her granddaughter.

Kathleen was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson University and worked as an Occupational Therapist at The Vineland Developmental Center, where she devoted her career to helping the developmentally disabled.

A Memorial Mass in memory of Kathie will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018, 11 AM at St. Vincent De Paul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., where friends may gather to celebrate her memory from 10 AM until the time of the Mass.
