Kenneth L. Morrison, 78, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 24. He was a long-time resident of Mays Landing. Ken proudly served our country as a Staff Sargent in the Army, 82nd airborne. Following his military career, Ken held Warehouse Manager positions at J. Rosrnblum & Sons and Major League Foods. He retired from the Hess school system several years ago. Ken is survived by his beloved wife Brenda, daughter Lynette Roberson and her lifetime partner Kevin Cottman; sons Dean and his wife Sandy, Dontez, Kenya and his lifetime partner Quiona Sarao Hawkins. Ken is also survived by his 3 grandchildren - Kevonnah, Cameron and Minnie; siblings Joyce and Neil Simpson, Anita and and Jonathan Armstread, David Brownbill, sister-in-law Barbara Moses, and many additional loving extended family members. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Family and friends may gather from 9-11 AM, a service will be held at 11 AM. Committal with military honors will follow at the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery.
