Linda Palermo

Linda Sue (Josephsen) Palermo, age 55, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Mainland Regional in Pomona, NJ. She was born June 5, 1961 in Somers Point, NJ to Fred Howard Josephsen and Marion "Mickey" (Stewart) Josephsen. She was a 1979 graduate of Mainland Regional High School. She married the love of her life, Anthony Max Palermo, on November 17, 1984 at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Pleasantville, NJ. After the birth of her first daughter, Danielle, Linda decided to become a homemaker and devote her life to raising her children and supporting Tony's family business. In 1989, her second daughter, Dana, was born and she relished being a new mother again. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, snowmobiling, dining out, caring for her family and a good laugh over a glass of wine with close friends. Linda will be remembered as a selfless, devoted wife and mother with a contagiously beautiful and vibrant spirit. Linda joins her beloved mother, Mickey, and dear father-in-law, David Palermo in heaven. She is survived by her loving husband Anthony "Tony" Palermo of Mays Landing, NJ, daughters Danielle Lynn (Palermo) Cullen of Albany, NY and Dana Marion (Palermo) Boyer of Ventnor, NJ, fur babies Maxie and Mario, father Fred Howard Josephsen and wife Millie of Egg Harbor Township, NJ, brother Freddie Josephsen and wife Francie of Northfield, NJ, sister Pat (Shourds) Cole and Lou of Millville, NJ, and many nieces and nephews. Kindly join us at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street in Mays Landing for a remembrance of her life on from 6-8p Tuesday, December 13 and 10-11a Wednesday, December 14. Funeral services to begin at 11am on Wednesday at Boakes followed by a burial ceremony at Holy Cross on Route 40 in Mays Landing.
