Loretta Clark, 65, of Mays Landing, passed away unexpectedly on December 26, 2016. Born in Woodbury on May 5, 1951, she grew up in Brooklawn; raised her family in Cherry Hill and has resided in Mays Landing since 2006 to be closer to her oldest grandchildren. She enjoyed a successful career as an office manager for a law firm then continued to excel in her second profession as a court stenographer due to her professionalism and impeccable attention to detail. She was the light and spark of every room she entered and enjoyed spending time with her beloved family and friends, always smiling, laughing and making others smile. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Ruth Gansz, and her loving husband, John Clark III. She is survived by her heartbroken children, Dawn (Steve), Stacey (Tim) and Doug (Samantha); her pride and joy – 5 beautiful grandchildren; and countless loving family and friends. Viewings will be held at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing on Thursday, December 29 from 6-9 pm, and Friday, December 30 from 10-11 am, with a service on Friday at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the Atlantic Co. Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice in Loretta’s memory.
