Mark Stebbins

Mark Christian Stebbins, Sr., age 56, was taken home peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2011 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Son of late Robert and the “precious” son of his mother Marion, Mark will be greatly missed by long time companion and caregiver, Linda Cerrone. He was the devoted and loving father to his son Mark Jr. and daughter Jill Burbank. Mark is also survived by his sister Dorthea, (Ken), brother Randy, sisters Kathi and Kristi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mark was a lifelong resident of the Harding Lakes section of Mays Landing and will be missed by his many friends and family. Mark was always willing to lend his time and talents to anyone in time of need. His “gift to his neighbors” in the assembly and construction of the Nativity Scene at the Park at Christmas has always been admired and appreciated. His humor and generosity will be greatly missed by all in his community that he has helped throughout the years. Mark was a faithful and devoted member of The Evangel Assembly of God Church in Mays Landing, N.J. He was a member of Local 68, and a self employed electrician for 37+ years, he was also employed as an electrician at the William J. Hughes Technical Center in Pomona. Relatives and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Marks life on Wednesday, March 9th, from 6-8pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street in Mays Landing, where services will be held at 8pm.
