Mary Sacchinellli

Mary Margaret Sacchinelli “Peggy”, 81, of Mays Landing, passed away on April 10, 2012. Although she struggled for the past three weeks, she gave it her good Irish Fight! Peggy was a dedicated wife of the late Augustino J. Sacchinelli, Jr. She was a devoted mother to her four children; William, Mary Teresa “Terry”, John, and James, a loving grandmother of: John Doring III (Amanda), Daniel Mondorff (Candice) and Justin Sacchinelli (Melissa). Great-grandmother to Hannah Sacchinelli and expected great-granddaughter Mondorff. She also leaves to cherish her memory, her brother Manfred “Freddy” Somers, and many cousins and friends. Throughout her life she enjoyed the company of her extended family, traveling and her trips to Ireland and Disney World. She volunteered her time to the Church and school for many years, most enjoying the time spent decorating the church for the holidays. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 14th, 12 noon, at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., (next to Holy Cross Cemetery), Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10am till the time of the mass.
