Matthew Ross

Ross, Matthew “Scott”, 40, of Mays Landing, passed away on April 1, 2011. A lifelong resident of Mays Landing, he was a 1989 graduate of Oakcrest High School. Scott traveled extensively through his occupation with Concrete Links designing and building miniature golf courses. Affectionately known as “Scotty Mama”, he was devoted to his family, the life of the room, and always there to lend a helping hand to all that were part of his life. He was a loving and devoted father to his daughter Rachel and will be sadly missed by the love of his life Annette Harrison. He is also survived by his four beloved siblings; Marguerite Pohlig, Deborah Manning (David), Charlotte Holloway, and Daniel Ross (Colleen), brother-in-law George Conner, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Eva Ross, and his brother-in-law Jesse Pohlig and nephew Corey Pohlig. A viewing and celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Wednesday, April 6th, from 4-6pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services and reflections will be held at 6:00.
