Obituary
Mile Krznarić, 61, of Estell Manor passed away peacefully in his home on April 7, 2011, less than three months after being diagnosed with stomach cancer. Born on May 14, 1949 in Croatia to Pavo and Maria (nee Smolčić) Krznarić, Mile served in the Yugoslavian army as a tank mechanic after high school. After completing his military service, Mile worked as a machinist – a career that brought him to New Jersey in August of 1977. For the last 12 years, he was a proud partner in the Universal Mold and Tool machine shop in Vineland. Mile loved to go fishing and watch football, especially his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Mile was predeceased by his parents, his brother Ivan Krznarić and his first wife Miroslava (nee Tošić) Krznarić. He is survived by his second wife Paula (nee Gaskill) Krznarić; children Snežana (husband Joseph) Gatto, Siniša Krznarić, Paulina (husband Sean) Churchill, Alycia Striffolino and John Striffolino; grandchildren Isabella, Gwen, A.J., Austin, Sicily and Devon; brother Jure Krznarić; sisters Katarina Kuveždić, Jelena Smetiško and Anka Nedeljković, business partners Mike Mitros, Dusan Tanasić, Dave Raineer, Tom Bui and Frank Enders and many more family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. A gathering for friends and family will take place at Boakes Funeral Home in Mays Landing on Friday April 15, 2011 from 10am – 12pm with a service at noon.
