Miriam T. Lentz (Lentz, McNenny) departed this life on April 18, 2013 at the Meadowview Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past year. She was born on February 2, 1920 in Philadelphia, PA. to Frank J. and Anna M. (Kane) McNenny. As a young child her family moved to Belcoville. She later moved to Mays Landing where she remained a lifelong resident. She worked for many years for Harry M. Stevens in the food service industry at various Thoroughbred Racetracks in South Jersey. She was a devout member of St. Vincent DePaul RC Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 220. She was predeceased by her husbands William B. Lentz, Jr in 1974 and Frank G Kerp in 1988, and children Helen Rutherford, Geraldine Buscaglia and Merilyn Kinsey and J. Patrick Lentz. She is survived by her children William B. Lentz, III, Ga. , Sally Picucci (Tom) of Hammonton, Frank J. Lentz (Sara) of Estell Manor, Donald J. Lentz (Kathy) of Buena Vista Twp., and J. Michael Lentz of SC., 15 Grandchildren and numerous Great and Great-Great Grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 24th, from 6-8PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, 11AM, at the St. Vincent dePaul Church, 5021 Harding Highway, Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10AM till the time of the mass. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.
