Nancy Helen Franckle Obituary

Nancy Helen Franckle (nee McConnell, Owens) 71, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 25, 2011. She was born in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania and attended Saint Lawrence Elementary and Notre Dame Academy. She was an accomplished pianist and at the age 12 received the honor of becoming a District Member of the National Guild of Piano Players. At the age of 16 she relocated to Mays Landing and graduated from Holy Spirit High School. Later while living in Ocean City she was the office manager at the Coca Cola Company. In 2003 she retired and moved to The Fairways in Mays Landings. After retirement she loved to travel, spend time with her family and attend her grandchildren’s activities. She is survived by her husband William C. Franckle, brother Russ McConnell (Mary), daughter Christine Wright (George Strang), daughter Susan Paisley (Woody), daughter Lisa Fogarty (John), daughter-in-law Karen Newman, step-son Dr. Bill Franckle (Connie), and brother-in-law Richard Franckle (Joan). Cousins Leslie Pierce (Nelson) & Dana Tully of Texas. She is also survived by her much loved grandchildren Jennifer Hance (Steven), Kimberly Wright, Stephen Wright, Ashley Paisley, Lauren Fogarty, Kellye Owens, John Fogarty, Devan Fogarty, Morgan Owens, Garrett Franckle, Maxwell Franckle, Nathan Paisley (Jenna) and Brandon Paisley. She leaves behind her treasured great-grand daughters Kylie and StevieLynn. She is predeceased by her parents John McConnell (Eileen) and Norine Snyder, son Michael Owens, grandparents Russell and Helen Williams, and brother-in-law David Franckle. A viewing will be held on Wednesday morning 9-10:30 AM at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Route 50 & 2nd St., Mays Landing. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family would encourage donations to the Scleroderma Foundation. Donations can be made by mail; 300 Rosewood Drive, Suite 105 Danvers, MA 01923.
