Olga Marie Smith, 92, departed from this life to be with the Lord on September 2, 2010. She was born on September 21, 1917 in New York City and was a long-time resident of Mays Landing, N.J. She worked in the Wheaton Plastic Factory for many years. She was a member of The Presbyterian Church of Mays Landing. Most recently she was living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Olga was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by her grandchildren Cindy Hall and husband Steve and David Rotellini and wife Angel; her great-grandchildren Madelyn and Lindsey Hall and Jessica, Jeffrey, Sandy, Dylan, Gloria and Joey Rotellini; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Johanna Marie and Ole Iversen (both born in Norway); her daughter Gloria Smith; and her brothers and sister, William Iversen, Harry Iversen, Walter Iversen and Astrid Duberson. She was truly a blessing to our family and she will be sadly missed. “Death leaves a heartache that no one can heal, love leaves a memory that no one can steal”.
Services will be held on Tuesday, 11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service.
Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Mays Landing.
