Paul Woodring, Jr.

Paul J. Woodring Jr. age 82, passed away peacefully at The Health Center at Galloway on Saturday, February 9, 2019. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judy Woodring (nee MacLean); his sisters, Pat Dyson (nee Woodring) and Jeanne Grady (nee Woodring); his daughter (spouse) Jackie (Matt); his sons (spouse), Nick (Kathleen), Lance (Rhonda), and Paul III (Megan); grandchildren Austin Perry, Jordan Perry, Morgan Krier–Woodring, and Paul J. Woodring IV; and many great friends. He was predeceased by his Son James (jimmy) Woodring. Paul was born and raised in Philadelphia before joining the U.S. Navy in 1955 and served on The USS Bon Homme Richard (essex class aircraft carrier) until 1963. Upon returning to New Jersey he worked for Standard Oil co. and Mobil for a period of time before working at The Trump Plaza and eventually at AtlantiCare before retiring to enjoy time with his wife and grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 15th, 11a.m. at the Veterans Cemetery located within Atlantic County Park, Estell Manor, N.J.
