Todd, Peter Charles, 80, of Mays Landing, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Peter was born on June 14, 1934 in Philadelphia, PA to Brice and Evelyn Todd. He was formerly from Southampton, PA, Florida, and most recently North Carolina. He served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a Mason and Shriner. Throughout his life he held many jobs and owned and operated an auto parts business with his brothers until his retirement in 1981. Pete was always a hard-working man and always had some kind of project in motion. Peter’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family. He loved to have family gatherings and was always considered the life of the party. He had a great sense of humor and loved to have fun and make everyone laugh. He was well loved by all that knew him, and he will be greatly missed by family and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Brice and Evelyn Todd and his son Darrell Todd. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Sandra B. Todd; his sons: Mark (Kimberly) Todd and Dennis Todd; daughter Wendy (Dan) Williams; daughter-in-law Kim Todd, grandchildren: Rebecca, Erik and Brittany Todd, Kortney (Chris) Lund, Jacob and Alison Todd, James Ernst, Jeremy (Robyn) Todd, and Noah Williams; great-grandson Robert Scott Todd; sister Evelyn Todd; and brothers: David (Barbara), Brice (JoEllen), and Steven (Charlotte) Todd. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Peter’s life will be held on Monday, March 16, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where family and friends may gather from 10 AM - 12 PM, and reflections will be shared starting at 12 PM.
