Raymond Kotansky Mays Landing, New Jersey Obituary

Raymond Kotansky

Raymond John Otto Kotansky,17, of Belcoville was suddenly called home to the arms of the Lord on October 3rd, due to unknown asthma related heart complications. Raymond was born on Feb. 15, 2001. He was the most amazing gift from God to his family. Being the first born grandson and great grandson he wanted for nothing. During his precious, yet short time on this earth, he displayed some of the most amazing actions and heart felt displays of unselfishness in a young man his age. Ray was an amazing, giving , sweet, fun, loving young man who brought laughter to everyone he encountered. His smile lit up the room. He worked very hard in school and made many academic achievements. In school, he was involved in anything to do with anti- bullying and anti-drug awareness. We would like Raymond to be remembered for his love to learn new things and he was very passionate about helping the under dog. His goal in life was to help others, using his experiences. He had an amazing love for animals, especially his cat, Roxy! His family and friends meant the world to him. He loved spending time with his cousin, Ajah, playing video games and bonding over their love of anime. He was a very loving son, grandson, great-grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. He is predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Susan Fennen, uncle Sam Nash Little, and aunt Michele Kotansky. He is survived by his mother, Kristina Kotansky, his cousin/sister, Ajah Kotanky, A sister Jeorgiona Dicampli, great-parents, John and Peggy Kotansky Sr., maternal grandfather, John Kotansky Jr., maternal great-grandmother, Peggy Fennen, Aunt Nancy Eckert, Uncle Tommy (Christine) Kotansky Cousins Tom Jr., and David M. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 10th, from 2 to 4 PM, at the Boakes funeral home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 4 PM. Burial will be private.
