Reginald Curtis Bailey

Reginald Curtis Bailey, of Richland, passed away on July 24, 2020 after a long hospital stay. He was born in Vineland, NJ on August 5, 1954 to parents George Bailey and Lillian Mae Guilford. He attended St. Augustine Preparatory School in Richland and attended some college on scholarship in North Carolina. Reginald worked at Lenox China in Pomona, NJ for approximately 17 years as a kiln operator. Previously he also worked for the Atlantic County Sheriff’s Office. He was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Deerfield, Rev. J. Schaffer. He also attended the 1st Baptist Church of Richland, Men’s Breakfast Ministry. He enjoyed working on cars, singing, playing cards, taking walks, and just jumping in the car and riding. Reginald is preceded in death by his father George Bailey, mother Lillian Guilford, and brother Ronald Bailey. He is survived by daughters: Theresa Bailey of Waycross, GA and Jennifer Bailey of Elkton, MD; granddaughters: Zaira Leach and Linda Chisholm, both of Waycross, GA, and Nevaeh Jones of Elkton, MD; grandson Nehemiah Jones of Elkton, MD; sisters Barbara Guilford of Richland, NJ, Gloria Davis of Waycross, GA and LaVerne Hubbard of Mizpah, NJ; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 1st, at 1 PM, at Michael Debbi Park, 315 Cedar Ave., Richland.
