Morris, Robert H., “Bus”, 86, of Mays Landing, passed away on his birthday, August 12, 2011 at Seashore Gardens Assisted Living in Galloway, NJ. “Bus” proudly served in the Merchant Marines during WWII. Mr. Morris served on Hamilton Twp. Committee for 9 years and in 1968 served as Mayor. He was a member of the Hamilton Twp. Republican Club, Unity Lodge #96 F&AM, past president of the Mays Landing Rotary Club, and a past scout leader of Troop 144 of the Boy Scouts. He is predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; his daughter, Joan Panza; and his brother, James Morris. “Bus” was a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his son Robert H. Morris II and wife Natalie of Mays Landing; his daughters: Alice Giunta and her husband Paul of Smithville and Patricia Mangiello and her husband Joey of Mays Landing; his 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his brother: David Morris of Mays Landing; and his sisters: Eileen Ripley of Mays Landing and Marjory Horton of English Creek. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9-11am at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing. Masonic Services will be held at 11am and religious services immediately following. Burial will be in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ. Memorial Donations may be made to Seashore Gardens, 22 West Jimmie Leeds Rd, Galloway Twp, NJ 08205
