O'Connell, Robert "Crusher", 54, of Mays Landing, passed away on April 10, 2008. A resident of Atlantic County for the past 20 years, he worked at the Flagship and Ocean Club in Atlantic City. He was a sales representative for the A.C. Press and most recently was a sales representative for Bathfitters at the Shore Mall in Egg Harbor Township. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid sports fan and Phila. Eagles fan. He is survived by his son David Spates and wife Sharon of Egg Harbor Twp.; daughter Alice Spates of Mays Landing; grandson Peter Spates; and two brothers, Frankie and Jackie. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Sunday from 12 Noon to 2 PM, to share their memories and celebrate the life of "Crusher" at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, P.O.
