Armstrong (Dattlo), Rose. 90, of Mays Landing, passed away Thursday Dec.22 peacefully surrounded by her family. Born Jan 31,1921 to Michael and Anna Dattlo in Philadelphia, Rose moved to Mays Landing in 1955. Predeceased by her husband Edward and her daughter Barbara, she is survived by her son Edward Armstrong of Somers Point, her daughters Rita Eluk (Richard) of Egg Harbor Twp, and Patricia Russell of Mays Landing, her grandchildren Donna, John, Michael, Kevin, William, Mark, Jennifer, Shannon, and Kiersten, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her many friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, December 27th, from 6-8pm, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:30am, at the St. Vincent dePaul Church (New Location next to Holy Cross Cemetery) 5061 Rt. 40, Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10am till the time of the mass. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Vincent De Paul church in Rose's name.
