Ruth A. King (Myers), 66, a long-time resident of Dorothy, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2013 at the Inspira Hospital in Vineland with her family by her side.<br><br>She graduated from Gloucester High in 1965. She started nursing school in 1965 and graduated as an LPN in 1967.<br><br>She worked as an LPN for over 40 years at Newcomb Hospital, now known as Inspira Hospital in Vineland until retiring in May 2012.<br><br>She is predeceased by her parents William and Jean Myers of Estell Manor.<br><br>She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, John W. King; her sons: John R. King (Michele) of Shiloh, and Matthew S. King of Dorothy; her granddaughter Tiffany of Shiloh; sister Barbara Pierman (Tom) of West Deptford; brother William Myers (Gail) of Mystic Island; sister Shirley Evans of Mays Landing; her in-laws of Gloucester City; many nieces and nephews, and her precious cat Levi.<br><br>She loved gardening, going to yard sales, and traveling with her family; but most of all, she loved spending time with her family.<br><br>A viewing will be held for Ruth on Saturday, September 7th from 9-11 AM at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial will be at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery in Estell Manor.<br><br><br>
