Scott J. Lomberg "Scotty" 55, of Ventnor City became one of God's Angels on November 2, 2011. Born on January 6, 1956 in Philadelphia, PA, he grew up in Margate, where met his life long friend, and future wife Patricia Gibbons. They married on November 28, 1975, and they went onto raise two beautiful children together .Scott was a hard worker in the field of construction; he owned a very successful business to ensure his family's wants and needs. Scott loved going on vacations, going fishing, bowling, and most of all spoiling his family. More than anything Scott loved lending a helping hand, whenever he was needed. Scott touched the lives of many people with his love, friendship and generosity, and maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. Scott is survived by his soul mate; Patricia Lomberg (Gibbons); Son, Drew Lomberg; Daughter, Dawn Wells (Joshua); always by his side partner of 12 years, Kathy Repp; construction apprentice, Carey Iona, whom he was like a father to. Proud Pop-Pop of three granddaughters; Mother, Rosalie Lomberg; brother, Mark Lomberg and many other cherished relatives and friends. Scott will be joining his brothers; Lenny and Michael;and his Father, Maxwell in Heaven. Relatives and friends are invited to gather & celebrate Scott’s memory on Wednesday November 9th from 11-12, with a service at 12pm, at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing. Burial will take place at Holy Cross.
