Obituary
Our beloved son, father, and brother, Sgt. Stephen Michael Paupst Jr., age 39, passed away peacefully at his home in Allentown, PA January 19th, 2019. He leaves behind his three children: Kayla Paupst of Mizpah, NJ. Tyler and Tristan Paupst of Egg Harbor Township, NJ. His parents Tammy Alguire and Steve Homesack of Allentown, PA. Stephen M. and Carol Paupst of Slayden, MS. His sister Jacqueline M. Paupst of Egg Harbor Township, NJ and brother Blake Williams of Blytheville, AR. He grew up in Egg Harbor Township, NJ and graduated from High School in Saint Cloud, FL. Growing up, he was a exceptionally gifted artist, excelling in many artistic undertakings involving drawing, painting and sculpture. This followed him into his adult years, appreciating the artistic value of graphic novels, video games, and collectible novelties, especially Captain America. Stephen proudly served his country in the United States Army, 10th Mountain Division Fort Drum, NY. Multiple deployments included Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq. His service was distinguished by being awarded a Purple Heart, Army Commendation Medal, as well as a Bronze Star awarded by President George W. Bush. He will be forever missed and loved by his family, friends, and brothers in arms. ♥️ A viewing will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 from 12pm-1:30pm at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ where a service will be held at 1:30pm. Burial immediately following at the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor, NJ with Military Honors.
