Shirley Senft (nee: Hughes), of Egg Harbor Township, passed away on April 28, 2010. Born and raised in Atlantic City, she attended Atlantic City High School. She worked for Atlantic City Hospital for 10 years and later worked at the Golden Nugget Casino until her retirement in 1996. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife and mother and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Bertha & Albert Hughes, her husband Louis T. Senft, and her sister Betty Paris. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Catherine Schroeder and Brian Albert Senft and his wife Deanne; her grandchildren: Rowland, Jacqueline, Victoria, Gabrielle, Emilee, Jessica, and Justin; her great-grandchildren: Carly Catherine, Annaliese, Lucy, and Tyler. She is also survived by her sisters: Ida Tindaro and Bertha Highland, her brother John Albert Hughes, and many other family members who will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, 7 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 6-7 PM.
