Lucas, Stephen, Jr., 93, of Mays Landing, passed away on March 1, 2008. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the owner and operator of Steve's Marine Radio and continued working until the age of 90. During his leisure time he was an amateur radio enthusiast (call sign - AF2X) and trained several others through the years to obtain their operators licenses. Preceded in death by his wife Mazie; he is survived by his son Stephen R. and his wife Suzanne M. of Manahawkin and his daughter Janet DeCicco and her husband Philip of Mays Landing; five grandchildren: Lori, Linda, Stephen, Susan, and Philip; and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Union Cemetery in Mays Landing.
