Caffrey, Jr., Thomas B., 73 of Margate, passed away on February 3rd, surrounded by his family. Son of the late Thomas and Eleanor (0rr) Caffrey. He was also predeceased by his 1st Wife Elizabeth (Mustaro). Tom is survived by his loving wife, Trish. His loving children, Beth, Fran, Toni (Ann) and Sean (Michelle). Trish’s children Jennie (Travis), Claire, and Jimmy (Meagan). Tom’s brothers Mike (Eileen) and Chris (Nadina). Pop-Pop’s grandchildren, Kaitlynn, Julia, Jeff, Tommy, Kyle, Tango, Will, Keira and Aliya. Tom spent his entire professional career in education. Beginning as a teacher, then principal for 2 Special Education Schools, and as an administrator in Special Education. Although retired, he returned as an adjunct professor at Stockton University. Throughout his kid’s years of growing up, he was a Coach with the Margate Little League. As his kids got older and they played sports, Tom would be there with his coolers of food and beverages. This tradition continued when he would follow his grandchildren’s sporting events. Tom was an avid golfer, a sport he taught his children to play. In his later years, he enjoyed traveling with his wife, they would take cruises including his dream cruise to Ireland and Alaska. He enjoyed taking pictures everywhere he went and at all family gatherings. Pictures that he would hang around the house. Visitation will be on Thursday Feb 8th from 10am to 12pm with a service to follow at Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, NJ.
