Vivian A. Penny (née Banner) 81, of Mays Landing, peacefully passed away February 5, 2020, after a brief illness. A life-long resident of the area, Vivian graduated from Pleasantville High School, and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration. She was preceded in death by the love of her life of 44 years, Frederick S. Hackney Jr. She leaves behind her daughter Victoria Einwechter of Mays Landing, her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Wendy Penny of Egg Harbor Township, Granddaughters Ericia Mestre (David) of Florida, Jessica Gustafson of Mays Landing, Grandsons Jordan, Alex, Chad Penny, and Tony Canizzaro (Jessie) all of Egg Harbor Township. Great-grandchildren Austin, Javier, and Bianca Mestre of Florida, Joshua and Victoria Gustafson of Mays Landing, Chayse Canizzaro of Egg Harbor Township, and a great, great-grandson Austin Frederick Mestre Jr. of Florida. Vivian is also survived by her sisters Lorraine and AnnaMae, her beloved feline companion Fritz, as well as a host of many, many dear friends and family members. Per the request of the deceased, services will be private.
