William Donnelly

William Joseph Donnelly, III, 87, of Mays Landing, passed away on May 8, 2018. Bill was born and raised in Philadelphia, son of the late William Jr. and Marcella (Ehmann). He lived in Bensalem, PA and Somers Point, NJ, before moving to the Oaks of Weymouth in 2000. In 2017 he moved to Woodview Assisted Living. He was a teamster truck driver for 30 years and a member of Local 107, and a security guard for Philadelphia Park Race Track for 12 years. Bill is predeceased by his wife of 65 years Peggy and his son William J. IV. He is survived by his son Michael of Londonderry, NH, his daughter Peggy Schwoebel and her husband Ron of Roebling, NJ, his two grandchildren Stacey Caraffa and William J. V, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life on Saturday, May 12 from 10-11am, at the St. Vincent DePaul Church, 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, NJ, where a Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
