William Edward Kraus, 82, of Egg Harbor Twp., loving father, husband, and man of faith, passed away peacefully with his loving daughters by his side on March 26, 2014.

Bill, affectionately known as “Uncle Eddie”, was born in Philadelphia and raised in Mays Landing. He lived in Hammonton for several years where he raised his two daughters with their mother, the late Esther M. Kraus (nee: Mazzeo).

He worked for Wheaton Glass Company for 43 years until his retirement. He was an avid Phillies fan and a Fourth Degree Knight and lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus Council #12868 St. Katherine Drexel.

He is survived by his wife Jayne Elizabeth; his daughters Lori Kraus and Lee Ann Farrell (William), his grandson Billy, his brother Fred Kraus, and his sisters Josephine Stapleton and Helen Vizthum.

A Catholic Mass will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 29, at 11 AM, at the Church of St. Katharine Drexel, 6075 West Jersey Avenue, Egg Harbor Twp., where a viewing will be held from 10 AM until the Mass. Burial will be private.
