Virginia Cifelli – 72 of Union Beach, NJ passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday October 15, 2018 at Bayshore Hospital. Virginia was born on June 17, 1946 in Newark, NJ. She graduated from Vailsburg High School and met her husband John; they were married for 39 wonderful years. They moved to Holmdel, NJ to raise their family together. Virginia worked for many years as a receptionist at the Garden Manor in Aberdeen, NJ before retiring. She was an active and devoted parishioner of Saint Catharine’s Church in Holmdel, NJ. Virginia had many joys in life including going out to restaurants, spending summer time at the beaches of the Jersey Shore, listening to her favorite music, and hosting friends and holidays in her home in Holmdel. Of all her joys it was her family that made her shine brightest. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Virginia is predeceased by her adoring husband John, and her parents Lewis and Doris as well as her brother Robert. Virginia is the mother to Theresa and John and his wife Lauren. Virginia is also survived by her beautiful grandchildren Lea, JJ, and Joseph, her sister Joan Rommeihs, and many nieces and nephews.

Virginia will be reposing at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home 1735 Route 35 Middletown, NJ 07748 on Friday October 19, 2018 from 4 – 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Catharine’s in Holmdel at 9:15am. Entombment to follow at Holmdel Cemetery.
