Ann Cameron (nee Hood) - 94 of Northfield, went home peacefully to be with the Lord on Monday, July 31, 2017 with loved ones by her side. Her ability to bring a smile to all with her delightful sense of humor and her concern for others before herself were treasured qualities that will remain an example for us all. She was a registered nurse for most of her career at the office of Dr. Ralph Ruppert in Absecon. Ann and her husband enjoyed many years of camping across the country in their Airstream trailer, loved going to the movies and doing crossword puzzles, and visits with family. She was predeceased by Thomas Cameron, her beloved husband of 66 years; her parents Delaware and Ella Hood; brother Delaware (Buster) Hood; and sister Ebbie Hayden. She is survived and greatly loved by her youngest sister, Jean Morgan (husband Robert); and nieces and nephews. Donations to Atlantic County Food Bank and Wounded Warriors Fund would be appreciated. Services will be private.
