Anthony Tarabocchia, 71, of Roseland, N.J., passed away on January 11, 2020. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 16, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at Shook-Farmer Funeral Home, 45 Roseland Avenue, Roseland. Services begin on Friday, January 17, 2020 at 9 a.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be offered at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland, with interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Born in Susak, Croatia to the late Antonio and Caterina Tarabocchia, Anthony came to the U.S. in 1955 at the age of 7 years old, and grew up in Hoboken, N.J. and North Bergen, N.J. Once married, he lived in Franklin Lakes, N.J. and has lived in Roseland for the past 13 years. Prior to retiring, Anthony worked in the catering industry for The Marigold in Somerset, N.J. Predeceased by his daughter, Tina Siedler, his brother, Marco Tarabocchia, and his parents, Anthony is survived by his wife of 48 years, Michele Tarabocchia (nee: Vecchiarello); son, Anthony Tarabocchia, and his wife, Kimberly; son-in-law, Robert Siedler; grandchildren, Ava, Leila, Dean, and Stella; and brother, John Tarabocchia, and his wife, Maria.
