Joy Cody

Joy A. Cody (nee Regan), 76, of Roseland, died on August 17, 2019. A Funeral Mass will be offered on August 20th 10 am at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church Roseland, NJ. Born and raised in the Bronx, she lived in Parsippany, then moved to Mahwah for some time and settled in Roseland 13 years ago. Prior to her retirement, she was Head of Sales for K. Hovnanian Homes throughout The Tri-state area. In her spare time, she was a scratch golfer, former member of the Ramsey Country Club, world traveler and an expert in finance with a minor in cosmos. She was a true nurturer to her family and friends. Often times, she was a strong independent woman, who would lend a hand to anyone in need of assistance. She treasured the time spent with her grandchildren and was active with her family’s charities. Most importantly she embodied her name to the fullest...she was pure JOY! Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, William C. Cody and her sister, Maureen Ringwood and her parents John and Theresa Regan. She is survived by her beloved children, William C. Cody, Jr. and his wife, Kelly and Jeanine Cody-Sensenich and her husband, Dave; adoring grandchildren, Will, Connor, Meg, Regan, Anna, Emily, and Kelsey. Also surviving is her Niece Kim Williams and husband Jeff and their children Matthew and Patrick, her nephew James Ringwood and his wife Lori and their children jimmy and Ava.
