Sr.Marie Millacci, CSJP

Sister Marie Paula Millacci CSJP, 96, of Englewood Cliffs died peacefully at St. Michael Villa on June 29, 2015. She was born on August 8, 1917 in Lebanon, PA, to the late Anthony Felice Millacci and Josephine (Chirello) Millacci. Sister Marie Paula entered the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace at St. Michael Villa Novitiate on February 2, 1946 and pronounced final vows there on February 2, 1951. A graduate of Seton Hall University and Catholic University, Washington, DC, Sister ministered with the blind and handicapped children at St. Mary’s home, Lansdale, PA; St. Joseph School for the Blind, Jersey City; and Mt. Carmel Guild, Newark. She also, ministered at St. James Hospital, Newark and Villa Marie Claire, Saddle River before retiring to St. Michael Villa. Sister Marie Paula was pre-deceased by her brothers, John Millacci, Thomas Millacci and Edward Millacci and sisters, Rose Kullack; Carmelia Erhardt; Helen Calburn, Marguerite Millacci, and Ann Millan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from 2-7 PM at St. Michael Villa, 399 Hudson Terrace, Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 9:30 AM in St. Michael Villa Chapel. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, No. Arlington. Arrangements made by Angelo G.
