Allan Bush, 51, of North Brunswick NJ, died suddenly and unexpectedly after a short illness on Saturday, Feb. 8th, 2020. Allan was born on June 10th, 1968, in Bournemouth, England, to a British father and mother of Mexican descent. As the son of a Merchant Marine, he resided in many places throughout the world, including Saudi Arabia, Australia, and Mexico, before settling in the United States as a teenager. Allan spent his career in Information Technology and founded his own business, Apps2Oranges, - a digital design and project management service company. Most recently, he worked as a project manager for Verizon Communications and was very proud to be part of the team that launched 5G. Allan was also an artist and had an eclectic taste in music, culture and the arts. His favorite band was The Boomtown Rats and he loved indie bands from around the world. In college, he founded a music literary magazine called Fusion Creative Media, with those who became his life-long friends. He had a quirky sense of humor, loved yo-yos and British comedy. He was a passionate fan of soccer, and a devoted dog-dad to his fleet of pets: Lily, Piper, Blackie, Orsi, and Rocky. He is survived by his wife, Mary, and step-daughter, Beatrice, his son-in-law Ron and his two sisters, Grace and Linda. A viewing will be held on Thursday, Feb. 13th, from 6-8pm at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton St., Somerset, NJ, a funeral service will take place at 7:30PM.
