Frank J. Arico Sr. Edison Frank J. Arico Sr., 92, passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Edison, New Jersey. Mr. Arico was born March 13, 1926 in Rossiter, Pennsylvania to the late Joe and Antonena (Ensano) Arico Jr. He lived in New Brunswick for 24 years and relocated to Edison, where he settled for over 40 years. Frank served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict having attained the rank of Corporal. He enlisted on September 15, 1950 discharged on September 8, 1952 He was a factory worker for Westinghouse in Edison, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of the New Brunswick Moose Lodge and the New Brunswick Senior Center, where he loved to play bocce at Boyed Park. Frank was an avid bowler; he was on a league at Edison Lanes and was very proud of bowling a 300, once. He also enjoyed playing 9 ball pool. Mr. Arico was preceded in death by his brothers, Santy Arico, Peter Arico, Samuel Arico, Joseph Arico, Anthony Arico and Nicholas Arico and his sisters, Donna Chewning, and Catherine Carvello. He is survived by his sons and daughter in laws, Arthur Arico and his wife Lisa of Edison, NJ and Frank Arico Jr. and his wife Maureen of Islen, NJ; his daughter, Diana Arico of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Michael, Joseph and Anthony and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 25th at Gleason Funeral Home, 1360 Hamilton Street, Somerset, NJ 08873 from 3-7 P.M. Graveside services and military honors will begin at 10:30 A.M. on Monday, November 26th at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran's Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.
