Michael A. Headley of Branchville, N.J. passed away suddenly into God's loving and eternal care on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. He was 44.
Born in Mount Holly and raised in Southampton, he lived in Branchville for the last eight years. Michael was a construction worker for Mount Construction Co. and currently for South State Construction Co. He was a member of Local Union #172.
He was a member of the Normanock Association of Culver Lake.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and attended many live concerts of the Grateful Dead band. He also was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, enjoyed NASCAR, and formerly played on Mr. Bob's softball team.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles L. Headley, and his nephew, Alan 'Rusty' Dickinson.
He is survived by his mother, Judith Dickinson Headley of Whiting, N.J., and his significant other, Diane Updike and her son, Connor, both of Branchville. Also surviving is his sister, Cammy Headley; his brother, Chuck Headley; his uncle, Dave Headley; his niece, Christa; nephews, Steven and Rodney; a great-niece, Jaelyn; and his dog, Andy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, at the Dennison Funeral Home, 41 Main Street, Vincentown, Southampton, where visitation with the family will be from 5 to 7 p.m.
