Elizabeth Beniush

Elizabeth “Betty” Beniush (nee Krieg), 98, of Holiday City at Berkeley, peacefully passed away on Friday, January 24, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Born in Newark, NJ on November 26, 1921 to John and Elizabeth Krieg, she married John Beniush in March of 1941. She lived and worked in Rutherford, NJ for over 30 years before retiring to Holiday City in 1983. Elizabeth and her late husband, John, enjoyed over 30 years of very happy retirement with their loving family and friends. Their life’s passion was dancing then square dancing after retiring. Surviving Elizabeth is her son John of Berkeley Twp., NJ, three grandchildren John Jr., Michael and Kim (Beniush) Jordan, and six great grandchildren Zachary, Sebastian, Nicolette, Vanessa, Brooke and Dylan. The family requests that no flowers be sent. Your visit is welcome and appreciated at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd., Toms River.
