Patrick Joseph Morbit, 89, of Toms River, NJ died on Tuesday March 24, 2020 at home. Born in Raritan, NJ, he grew up in Highland Park, NJ before moving to Piscataway, NJ. He and his wife, Janet, spent many happy retirement years in South Palm Beach, FL before returning to New Jersey. He moved to Toms River 8 years ago. He proudly served his country as a drill instructor in the US Air Force during the Korean War. Patrick was a sales manager for High Grade Beverage in North Brunswick, NJ. Patrick was predeceased by his loving wife, Janet Morbit, his parents Paul and Mary Morbit, his 4 brothers, Jim, Paul, John and Joe Morbit and 3 sisters, Betty Salterella, Nellie Lazaro, and Rose Paladino. Surviving are his devoted sons James Patrick Morbit and his wife Kathryn of Toms River, NJ and Richard John Morbit of Somerset, NJ and his many loving nieces and nephews. The arrangements are under the direction of the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals, 995 Fischer Blvd. Toms River, NJ. A memorial service will be held in the future.
