BETTS, MURIEL UARDA (SACK), 81, of Head of the River, passed away on Monday, June 3. She will be deeply missed by her survivors including sons George Betts (Janice), Thomas Betts (Larain); daughters Sherah Betts Carr (John), Muriel Somervell (Monte); beloved grandchildren, John, Lora, James, Julie, Philip, David, Jessica, Sherah, Alex, Hannah; great-grandchildren, Mary, Lyle, Corey, Keith, Felicia, Katie, Kelsey, Brady, Ryley, Chayse, Ella and Lola; many nieces and nephews; and beloved friends in New Jersey and Maine. She is predeceased by siblings Oliver Sack, Charles Sack, Lucretia Sack Wooley and Martha Sack Jesuncosky. Uarda was born in Greenville, NJ and was active in the Wesley United Methodist Church of Petersburg and Head of the River Church. She was also dedicated to the work of South Seaville Camp Meeting Association. She enjoyed her time vacationing in Maine and doing tole painting. The family is appreciative of the loving concern of Donna Earnheart and Joan Umholtz. Her funeral will be at Wesley United Methodist Church of Petersburg on Saturday, June 8. The viewing will be from 12:00 – 1:30 with the service following at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Head of the River Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, 400 Route 610, Petersburg, NJ 08270 or South Seaville Camp Meeting Association, 188 Dennisville Rd., Seaville, NJ 08246. Arrangements are by the Langley-Loveland Funeral Home, Tuckahoe.
