The family writes -- Jamie Erica Goldblat of Springfield lost her courageous, lifelong battle with Familial Dysautonomia and its many complications, on March 27, 2020, at NYU Langone Medical Center. Born in 1990 in Summit, Ms. Goldblat lived her entire life in Springfield, where she was a 2008 graduate of Jonathan Dayton High School. She was the beloved daughter of Robert and Elise Goldblat; the dearly loved sister of Jessica Cohen and her husband, Matthew, of Bridgewater, and the adored aunt of Leah and Emma Cohen. Jamie was writing a book and loved animals, especially her cat, Chloe, arts and crafts, tv shows, and her family and friends. Her optimistic spirit and ever-present smile will be missed by all who knew her. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions, graveside services at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, on March 30, 2020, were private.
