Hamburg, NJ: Jean Marie Mauro(nee Bibby), 89 years old, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, April 17, 2021. Born in Newark, NJ, she had lived in Nutley, NJ for many years before moving to Hamburg, NJ 12 years ago. Jean had worked at Hoffmann LaRouche in Nutley, NJ as a packager for 10 years. Jean loved crocheting, reading and gardening and was a doting wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Jean is predeceased by her son, Michael Mauro(2008), 2 sisters, Ruth and Dorothy and a brother, James and is the beloved wife of Michael Mauro of Hamburg, NJ. Devoted mother of Cathy Walker and her husband, Douglas of Hardyston Twp., NJ. Loving grandmother of Douglas Michael Walker and his wife, Kimberly and Kimberly Marie Moeller. Cherished great grandmother of Drew, Jack, Kiersten, Ryan and Brad. Entombment under the direction of Ferguson-Vernon Funeral Home, 241 Route 94, Vernon, NJ will be Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Laurel Grove Cemetery Mausoleum in Totowa, NJ.
