Bryan James Blezow, age 21, of Wyckoff, NJ. Born on March 28, 1994, Bryan was an extraordinary person who touched the lives of many in his short life. His smile could light up a room and he was happiest spending time with family in Long Beach Island, attending Camp Acorn every summer, watching the Rangers with his Dad and brother, and enjoying all kinds of music - especially listening to his sister play guitar. Bryan graduated in June from the Norman Bleshman School in Paramus, NJ, where he enjoyed all of the activity and interaction with his classmates, teachers and therapists - and had a particularly close bond with his one-on-one aide of 16 years, Donna Hegel. Bryan is survived by his loving parents, Susan and David of Wyckoff and was the beloved big brother to Matthew and Julia. He also leaves behind his grandparents Kathie and Jack Groh of Sarasota, FL, and Norman and Marilyn Blezow of Rockaway, NJ, and his aunts, uncles and cousins. While we will miss Bryan more than words can say, the lessons he taught us in unconditional love will live forever. Family will receive friends at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ on Monday, September 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 and a funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10am at Most Blessed Sacrament in Franklin Lakes, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations to Camp Acorn, P.O. Box 1383, Paramus, NJ 07653 would be appreciated.
