Obituary for Christopher A. DiCicco

DiCicco, Christopher A. “Chris”, age 68, of Mahwah, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at The Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Born in Pittsburgh, PA, he was a resident of Mahwah for the past 32 years. Chris worked as a Public Accountant for over 30 years in Midland Park and was a partner with DiCicco and Tanner now of Wyckoff Chris was a US Army veteran and a member of St. Elizabeth RC Church, Wyckoff where he served on the Finance Committee and was an Usher at the 12:45 PM Mass for several years. He was a member and Past President of the New Jersey Association of Public Accountants, Bergen-Passaic Chapter. Surviving is a grandson, Frankie DiCicco of Mahwah, a daughter and son-in-law, Rose and Kevin Rietema of Wayne, a son, Frank DiCicco of Sarasota, FL, and his granddaughter and grandson, Cassandra Rietema of Wayne and Dante DiCicco of Sarasota, FL. Also surviving is a brother and sister-in-law, Dario and Beverly Valente and a niece and nephew, Katrina and Christopher Valente all of Sarasota, FL. Chris was predeceased by his wife, Theresa Marie (nee Mamola) DiCicco on May 26, 2006. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth RC Church, 700 Wyckoff Ave., Wyckoff. Interment will follow in Maryrest Cemetery, Mahwah. Visiting hours Monday 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff.
