Marcincavage, Eleanor, age 96, of Wyckoff and Dunellen, NJ, died on Tuesday, August 11th, 2015. Eleanor was born in Shickshinny, PA. She was a seamstress in her early years and worked in retail sales at Sears in various locations. She was active in St. John’s R.C. Parish in Dunellen and President of the Rosary Society. She was also an active member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, the Knights of Columbus Columbiettes, and the Antique Automobile Club Watchung Chapter. She was a loving mother, doting grandmother, and affectionate great-grandmother. She is survived by her three children; Marie Mattox, and her husband, Doug, of MO, Suzanne DiGeronimo, and her husband, Louis, of NJ, and George Marcincavage Jr., and his wife, Kelly, of MA. Also surviving are her seven grandchildren; Heather Williams, and her husband, Frank, David Mattox, and his wife, Jessica, Holly Corwin and her husband, Kevin, Marcello DiGeronimo and his wife, Linda, Luciano DiGeronimo and his wife, Alison, Samuel Marcincavage and Gabriel Marcincavage, and her 12 great-grandchildren; Ryan, Austin and Logan Williams, Jessica and Daniel Mattox, Emma, Ava, and Ella Corwin, and Paloma, Giuliana, Anthony, and Christopher DiGeronimo. She was predeceased by her husband, George Anthony Sr., in 2004. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14th from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, www.vpfh.com, 257 Godwin Ave. Wyckoff, NJ. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 15th, at 10am at St. Elizabeth’s R.C. Church, 700 Wyckoff Avenue, Wyckoff, NJ 07481. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Berwick, PA 18603.
