HENDERSON, Evelyn Rose (Koetseer) age 75, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2015 at Glenn and Diane’s home in PA. Born on October 17th, 1939 in Ridgewood, she was the second daughter to Everett and Hilda (Osterholt) Koetseer. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Midland Park. She was pre-deceased by her husband Glenn R. Henderson in 1974, dedicating the rest of her life to the raising of their four children. She worked part time for the Church of the Good Shepherd and Sir Speedy Printing while raising her family. In her later career she worked at William Paterson University as an Administrative Assistant before her retirement in 2004. Evelyn was a lifelong member of the Faith Reformed Church in Midland Park. Evelyn is survived by her four devoted children, John Henderson and his wife Ginny of Hawthorne, Glenn Henderson and his wife Diane of Perkasie, PA, Everett Henderson of Midland Park, and Kathleen Chirkis of Midland Park. She also leaves a legacy of 11 grandchildren; Glenn II, and his wife Tayler, Michael and his wife Christine, Alyssa, Kimberly, Zachary, Brooke, Bradley, Connor and Tyler Henderson and RJ and Kaitlyn Chirkis; two great-grandchildren; Kileigh and Glenn Henderson III. She is also survived by her sister, Nancy Russell of Midland Park. Family and friends will be received at the Olthuis Funeral Home (www.vpfh.com), 159 Godwin Avenue, Midland Park on Friday, September 11th, 2015 from 6:00 until 9:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at the funeral home at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at the George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus.
