Margaret Muir-Behrans, 71, formerly of Midline Road, Amsterdam, NY; passed away Saturday, March 18, 2017 at The Capital Living Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Schenectady, NY. Born in Plymouth, New Hampshire on January 22, 1946, she was the daughter of the late John and Marvet Lobdell Muir. Margaret was employed as a housekeeper for 23 years at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Robert Behrens, predeceased her in 2011. Margaret is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Riley Mortuary, Inc., 110 Division Street, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady, and her final resting place will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilton, NY.
