Elizabeth A. Atkinson Belmont/Florida Elizabeth A. Atkinson, 65, of 30 Genesee Street, passed away peacefully Tuesday (June 16, 2015) at the Hart Comfort House of Allegany County in Wellsville. Born in Wellsville, March 1, 1950, the daughter of Albert and Jean (Wilcox) Atkinson, graduating from Angelica Central School, she had resided in Florida most of her life, returning to the area in 2012. Liz was a cook at Ayre’s Restaurant in Jacksonville, Florida for many years. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, gardening, and dogs especially Boston Terrier’s. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Howard, and sister Ruth . She is survived by 2 daughters Wendy (Mark) Roboski of Angelica, Holly Harrington of Angelica, and her son Richard Harrington II of Angelica, her best friend and companion tony Witczak, 4 sisters Mary Lou, Sandy, Rita Peangatelli, Betty Jean, 4 brothers Joseph, Marshall, Randy and Gary, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Liz’s wishes were to have no services, but a remembrance can be left at www.brownandpowersfuneralhomes.com Friends may make memorial contributions to: Hart Comfort House of Allegany County, or the American Cancer Society.
