David W. Herrington

David W. Herrington of Chaffee Rd., Arcade died Saturday, April 8, 2017 at his residence at the age of 78. He was born September 17, 1938 in Buffalo, NY a son of the late Walter and Laura Herrington. Dave's passion was farming. He owned and operated his own dairy farm in Arcade. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of the Bliss Rod-N-Gun Club. He was an agricultural sales representative for Agway in Arcade. He is survived by his wife: Patricia (Osborn) Herrington whom he married July 22, 1978 in Bethany, NY; his children: Becky Capwell of Batavia, Shelly (Mike) Dylag of Varysburg, Jodi Rudgers of Java and Corey Herrington of Texas; his step-children: Randy (Gwen) Seweryniak of Corfu, Janice Seweryniak of Oakfield, Laurie (Daniel) Kearney of Corfu, Joseph Seweryniak of Mexico and Patricia (Brad) Moore of Arcade; also survived by his brother - Bill Herrington and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; his step-daughter: Carolyn Ognibene; his siblings: Robert Herrington and Janice (Martin) Warner. There will be no calling hours. As per Dave's wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
