Eleanor A. Gadomski

Eleanor A. Gadomski, formerly of Skyview Dr., Arcade died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Machias at the age of 84. She was born July 21, 1932 in Buffalo, NY a daughter of the late Francis and Josephine (Pokorska) Marcinkowski. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Arcade as well as a member of the altar and rosary society. She was a housekeeper for St. Joseph's Hospital in Cheektowaga. Her husband, Chester Gadomski who she married June 30, 1951 in Buffalo, passed away November 26, 2000. She is survived by her children: Donna Tyndall of Bonita Springs, FL, Fred (Ann) Gadomski of Java Center, David (Charlotte) Gadomski of Texas and Mary Lou D'Amico of Sloan, NY; her siblings: Helen Klimko of Hamburg and Mary Jane Crissman of Lockport; her grandchildren: Amy (Stephen) Miller, Shannon Tyrna, Lee Tyrna, Kelly Gadomski, Gary Tyndall, Mark (Brittany) Tyndall, Jillian Mahrs, Joshua Gadomski, Ashley Gadomski, Brooke Gadomski, Harley Gadomski, Robyn D'Amico, Richard Zavarella and Michael Zavarella; also survived by seven great-grandchildren, her daughter-in-law: Sharon Lorenz of Lancaster and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son: Michael Gadomski and her siblings: Henry Marcinkowski and Frances Gadomski. Friends may call Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church in Arcade. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in St. Adalbert's Cemetery on Broadway St., Lancaster.
